NACE Announces New Multi-Shop Operator Symposium

A new, annual event specifically for multiple shop operators (MSOs) called the MSO Symposium will make its debut at Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) 2011. The MSO Symposium, sponsored by CCC Information Services, Toyota Wholesale Parts and DuPont Performance Coatings, will take place Thursday, Oct. 6 and will feature an all-day program consisting of education and networking specific to MSOs.

Registration to the all-day event is available on the NACE website and is complimentary to qualified MSOs, but is limited to the first 100 registrants (limit of three people per company).

The MSO Symposium will start with a networking breakfast, followed by a full day of relevant programming, and will conclude with a networking reception. Session titles, exact content and speakers for the program will be announced in the near future.

"Independent shop owners will always be the bread and butter of our audience, but as the industry’s show, we’re committed to changing with the ever-evolving needs of the industry. MSOs have distinct needs for education and networking, and we feel ASRW is the appropriate setting for this program. We look forward to offering this symposium on an annual basis," said Ron Pyle, ASA president.

Attendees of the MSO Symposium have an opportunity to purchase a Super Pass to take full advantage of everything ASRW has to offer on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
