The newly revived Nebraska Auto Body Association (NABA) announced that it has elected its new board of directors. The board consists of:

Trevor Emahizer, Plaza Buick GMC Body Shop, Omaha, Neb.
Dennis Mitchell, 3D Body Shop, Norfolk, Neb.
Tom Tracy, Tracy’s Body Shop, Lincoln, Neb.
Scott Meints, Joe’s Body Shop, Lincoln, Neb.
Dave Yard, The Collision Center, Ashland, Neb.
Industry veteran Mel Hunke, one of the founders of the original NABA, will serve as administrator.
NABA will hold its first industry event on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Neb. The event will offer shop owners the opportunity to network with their peers and learn more about industry trends that will affect their business. Guest speakers will include:
Jon Melendez, owner of JDM Collision Centers in Illinois and Indiana
Scott Weiser, Iowa Collision Repair Association lobbyist
Nebraska attorney Dave Domina, who just announced his candidacy for state senator
A panel discussion focused on parts procurement will round out the day.
Nebraska welcomes the industry to this new beginning. The meeting at the Lodge at Mahoney State Park will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a $30 charge for lunch.
