As the result of one family’s ordeal in trying to get its SUV repaired properly, the Channel 3 I-team out of Connecticut did a special investigation of Progressive’s Concierge Service.
The family filed a claim with Progressive and had its car repaired at one of the insurer’s DRP shops. However, after a second accident, another shop uncovered what were unsafe and improper repairs performed by that DRP shop.
“We were not satisfied at all with the repair quality that was there, and what was surprising was that was not indicative of the repair quality that comes out of that particular shop on a day-to-day basis,” said Progressive’s corporate PD process manager Chris Andreoli in the special report.
