P.B.E. Jobbers Warehouse Opens New Location in Hartford, Conn.

Addition of fifth location is first step in company's plan for future growth.

P.B.E. Jobbers Warehouse Inc. has added a fifth location in Hartford, Conn.

“P.B.E.’s success can be attributed to the philosophy of providing legendary customer service and inventory that matches the customers’ needs,” said Paul Monroe, president. “P.B.E.’s Customer Service Department sets us apart by putting our time-tested specific product knowledge to work for you and your customers every day. Our experience and industry insight mean quicker turnaround times for a product mix that best serves our customers.”

In addition, P.B.E. employees have purchased 100 percent of stock from company founder Richard Rasmussen in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) stock sale.

“I believe the major benefit in forming the ESOP was giving the employees the opportunity to have a stake in the company, which they helped build,” said Dave Birk, CEO. “With the formation of the ‘Employee Owned’ PBE, I see our employees taking service to another level, with the pride of ownership.”

The new ownership structure has the company poised for future growth, with the new Harford location as the first step.

“I believe this will position the company well for expanding our footprint in the collision repair industry,” Birk said. “Our goal is to find solutions to make business more efficient and to streamline operations. We’ve always striven to provide the best service at the best price, and that will continue to be a part of our growth plan.”
