PPG announced that the theme and focus of its MVP Business Solutions Conference Sept. 13-15 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville is "Accelerating Performance."

Keynote speakers at the conference include:
Jim “Murph” Murphy, founder and CEO of Afterburner, Inc. Murphy is a former F-15 fighter pilot, an author and business consultant who possesses a unique mix of leadership skills honed through experience in both the military and business worlds. He will share his Flawless Execution methodology born from fighter aviation and applied to the business world helping owners and managers execute on the mission critical initiatives within their business.
Sam Hornish Jr., Penske driver of the PPG-sponsored No. 77 Mobil 1 Dodge Charger. Hornish is a three-time IndyCar Series champion, winner of the 2006 Indianapolis 500 and current Penske Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver.
Patrick Graupp, author and senior master trainer in TWI. Graupp is a widely recognized author and expert in the principles of TWI and recipient of the Shingo Research and Professional Publication Prize 2007 for his practical workbook on the subject titled “Essential Skills for Supervisors.” Graupp recently certified a team of PPG Business Solutions trainers in all three of the TWI Disciplines, currently offered exclusively to PPG collision center owners and managers.
Scott Shriber, publisher of BodyShop Business. Shriber is a 30-year veteran of the automotive industry. His 27 years with Ford Motor Co. included senior management work in sales, marketing, customer service, dealer profitability, fixed operations and warranty. Shriber joined Babcox Publications in 2008 as publisher of BodyShop Business.
