PPG Enhances OneChoice Line with New UV Primer and Post Wipe

SUA1080 employs the latest aerosol primer technology to combine high build with an industry-leading cure speed – by UV lamp – of only two minutes.

PPG-onechoicePPG Automotive Refinish has enhanced its ONECHOICE universal ancillary brand with the addition of SUA1080 UV Primer and SU1081 UV Primer Post Wipe. SUA1080 employs the latest aerosol primer technology to combine high build with an industry-leading cure speed – by UV lamp – of only two minutes. The primer is ideal for spot repairs and improved cycle time. Once SUA1080 UV Primer has cured, a wipe down with SU1081 UV Primer Post Wipe quickly prepares the surface for sanding. SUA1080 is suitable for a range of substrates including properly prepared steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, polyester body fillers, fiber glass, and rigid and semirigid plastic (except polyethylene and polystyrene). It is also suitable for use with all OEM and PPG refinish paint systems. The primer is easy to use and requires no mixing. Its speed and performance increase refinish efficiency, making it an appropriate choice for any collision center interested in improving throughput and overall productivity.

PPG’s OneChoice brand of specialty products is designed for use with any PPG automotive coatings system. The OneChoice line provides an in-house refurbishing capability, allowing a shop to maintain or increase the level of services while improving its profit potential. OneChoice products include special corrosion-resistant undercoats, trim coatings, wax and grease removers, a universal matting agent and a brush-rollable primer along with innovative products for repairing plastic finishes and restoring vinyl.
