PPG Refinish Products Granted Good Housekeeping Seal Of Approval

Product lines receiving the Seal include Envirobase High Performance, Aquabase Plus, Deltron, Global Refinish System and Nexa Autocolor 2K.

PPG Automotive Refinish has announced that several of its popular products have earned the Good Housekeeping Seal, long regarded as a trusted symbol of quality. The product lines receiving the Seal include Envirobase High Performance, Aquabase Plus, Deltron, Global Refinish System and Nexa Autocolor 2K.

The Good Housekeeping Seal is issued by Good Housekeeping magazine and granted to products that have been evaluated by the Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI). The Seal has been reassuring consumers about their product-purchasing decisions for more than 100 years and is one of the most recognized and respected consumer symbols in the market today. In keeping with the rigid qualifying process, the PPG products were assessed before earning the Seal by GHI scientists and engineers to ensure they deliver on all claims made in advertising, packaging and other informational materials. If a product does not perform as promised or does not meet established standards for quality, it does not earn the Seal.

“It’s quite an honor for our products to receive the Good Housekeeping Seal,” said Greg Benckart, vice president, Americas, PPG Automotive Refinish. “We work hard to provide our customers with high quality products, and to have those products backed by the Seal acknowledges the success of our efforts. We take great pride in being granted the Good Housekeeping Seal.”

Envirobase High Performance and Aquabase Plus advanced waterborne basecoats are popular throughout the U.S. and Canada as collision centers shift to low-VOC products. More than 10,000 collision centers across North America use Envirobase High Performance and Aquabase Plus.

The Deltron system is recognized as the best-selling refinish system in North America and offers a track record of color excellence and process efficiency. The system provides a full range of easy-to-use products and solutions that cover every need from start to finish.

Global Refinish System products were developed in Europe by PPG’s advanced coatings technology team to meet the demand for a high-performance, high-solids system that delivers superior color matching for vehicles sold around the world. As a result, the Global Refinish System has been approved globally by more OE manufacturers than any other PPG refinish brand.

The Nexa Autocolor 2K refinish system enables collision centers to gain competitive advantages in their local markets by implementing state-of-the-art repair process solutions that incorporate innovative technology, support services and tools.

PPG collision centers using Envirobase High Performance, Aquabase Plus, Deltron, the Global Refinish System or Nexa Autocolor 2K will display the Good Housekeeping Seal in their shops and promotional materials.
