Presta Products Releases SOPs for Buffing and Polishing Clears

Each SOP details how to use Presta’s buffing system with specific buffing pads and recommended speeds for today’s leading clears.

Presta Products announced it has developed a series of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for buffing and polishing clears. With clearcoat technology evolving at a rapid pace, Presta Products has been working closely with coatings manufacturers to develop the SOPs to help body shops pick the right solution for buffing and polishing clears.

“We recognize that all clears are not created equal,” said Mary Kimbro, director of marketing. “That’s why we’ve broken down our SOPs by paint brand, clearcoat and dry time. Located at www.prestaproducts.com, our series of dropdown menus will allow the body shop to quickly and efficiently find the most productive system to fit any job.”

Each SOP details how to use Presta’s buffing system with specific buffing pads and recommended speeds for today’s leading clears.

The SOPs were launched at the 50th Annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas. For more information, visit www.prestaproducts.com/sop.aspx.
