Pro Spot Unveils NACE/CARS Training Schedule

Company, included in Ford's 2015 F-150 Collision Repair Program, will teach three courses on aluminum and plastic bumper repair.

Pro Spot has announced it will be teaching three courses on aluminum and plastic bumper repair at NACE/CARS:

  • Wednesday, July 30: Aluminum Welding & Repair, 1:30-3 p.m.
  • Thursday, July 31: Plastic Welding and Bumper Repair Course, 3:30-5 p.m.
  • Friday, Aug. 1: Aluminum Welding & Repair, 1:30-3 p.m.

Three of the company’s welders have been included in Ford’s 2015 F-150 Collision Repair Program. These include the SP-5 Smart MIG, SP-2 Smart MIG and SP-1 Pulse MIG.

The SP MIG Series welders come equipped with 5554 1.2mm aluminum welding wire, which is required by the program, as well as silicon bronze for MIG brazing on ultra high strength steel and high strength steel, and steel (on the SP-5). The series has also been approved by GM for the Corvette cast extrusion.

Along with Ford Collision Repair Program training, Pro Spot also offers:

I-CAR courses: Approved and CASE Certified courses on squeeze-type resistance spot welding and MIG welding training.
