Professional Parts Group Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Certification includes new entry parts distribution company's distribution locations in Denver and Atlanta and its corporate office in San Dimas, Calif.

Professional Parts Group, a new entry parts distribution company specializing in automotive collision repair products, has announced its recent ISO 9001:2008 certification for its distribution locations in Denver, Colo., and Atlanta, Ga., and its corporate office in San Dimas, Calif. The company’s quality management system is also in place in its newest warehouses in Chicago, Ill., and Charlotte, N.C. These locations will be added to its certificate in 2014.

To become ISO 9001 certified, a company must fulfill requirements outlined by the ISO, or International Standardization Organization. Specifically, ISO 9001 requires an organization to demonstrate a quality management system with the ability to consistently provide product and service that meets customer as well as legal requirements.

ISO 9001 certification also means the organization has demonstrated its commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction through the application of the management system, with processes for continual improvement and the assurance of conformity to customer, statutory and regulatory requirements.

Christopher Northup, CEO and managing partner of Professional Parts Group, committed to achieving ISO certification within the first year of business and attributes the company’s successful completion of this important certification to his employees.

“The Professional Parts Group is focused on quality and integrity at every level," said Northup. "Building a quality management system from day one was a vital component of our vision. Every professional in our company contributed to our success in achieving certification. Uncompromised parts, people and purpose is our motto, and the tenets of ISO 9001 certification help ensure we make good on that promise to each and every one of our customers."
