Professionals Auto Body Owner Ron Perretta Honored with ‘Excellence in Small Business’ Award

The award, given by the Blair County (Pennsylvania) Chamber of Commerce, was based on community service, flawless background of the business, growth of the company and continued plans of meeting the community's needs.

Ron Perretta, owner and operator of Professionals Auto Body in Altoona, Pa., has been honored with the “Excellence in Small Business” by the Blair County (Pennsylvania) Chamber of Commerce.

Businesses were judged based on community service, flawless background of the business, growth of the company and continued plans of meeting the community’s needs.

“This is more than an award for the company,” said Perretta. “This is also for our hard-working, loyal and dedicated staff. Our entire staff is the backbone to the business. Without them, we would not be who we are today. This award also belongs to our customers, who have stood up for their rights and have supported us for the last 37 years.”

Earlier this year, the Blair County Chamber of Commerce awarded and named Ron Perretta the “Small Business Person of the Year.” Professionals Auto Body was also recently awarded the 2016 “Hometown Favorite Body Shop.” The shop has won this award year after year and has been inducted into the Hall Of Fame.

“It’s such an honor that our community voted for us once again as their Hometown Favorite body shop,” Perretta said. “We’re so proud of this, and it speaks volumes as to what people think about us. I love our community and the people in it. There can’t be a better place to live and do business.”
