NACE | CARS announced the participation of Ray Bishop, of Bishop Designs, well-known airbrush artist and painter of goalie helmets for the NHL, in helping to raise money for the breast cancer fundraising at this year’s event. Bishop’s demonstration will take place during Expo hours at the Anest Iwata booth during the exposition.
Bishop will demonstrate his airbrush techniques by painting a hockey helmet depicting scenes and images from Detroit. This helmet will be auctioned at NACE | CARS with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting local breast cancer programs and national research.
“All of us here at Bishop Designs are very excited to have the opportunity to work with NACE | CARS on this project,” explained Ray Bishop, owner and painter at Bishop Designs. “We are honored to be able to give back for such an important and worthy cause.”
Those attending NACE | CARS 2015 can visit the Anest Iwata booth during the exposition to see Bishop in action. Following its completion, attendees can place their bid on the donated helmet at a silent auction, which will take place at the Automotive Service Association (ASA) booth, #822.
