Red Kap Releases ‘Ballistic’ Video Featuring Off-Road Champ BJ Baldwin

Apparel manufacturer features brand ambassador on his journey as an off-road racer.

Automotive apparel manufacturer Red Kap has released a new video on brand ambassador “Ballistic” BJ Baldwin, seven-time off-road racing champion. The video features Baldwin narrating his journey as an off-road racer while he and his crew can be seen out in the barren desert landscape testing for the upcoming Mint 400 off-road race.

Baldwin reflects on his podium finishes backed by his dedicated team as well as his father’s unrelenting support that helped fuel two Baja 1000 Championships. “It was my dad who first introduced me to dirt sports that I now share with my son. Without my family and my crew’s support I would not have a career in racing. I’m really proud of them and everything that we have accomplished as a team. I look forward to continuing to compete with the best guys in the sport,” said Baldwin.

Red Kap and Baldwin partnered together early in 2014, and the work wear manufacturer outfits the Baldwin Motorsports team in performance apparel. “Baldwin’s career has been chock full of successes,” said Chris Holcombe, vice president and general manager of distributor brands, Red Kap. “He has a deep respect for his team, the sport and, above all else, family, which is extremely admirable. BJ’s dedication and passion for what he does is forging an unforgettable legacy for Baldwin Motorsports, and Red Kap is proud to be part of that legacy.”

The video was produced and directed by Sweatpants Media of Long Beach, Calif., with concept and creative direction by Blue C of Costa Mesa, Calif.
