Robert O’Connor Receives AMI Annual Recognition Award

Robert O’Connor, R.L. O’Connor & Associates, Inc., Federal Way, Wash., received the Automotive Management Institute’s (AMI’s) most prestigious honor — the AMI Annual Recognition Award. The award is presented to an organization or individual who AMI believes has taken specific and significant action to encourage, enhance and support opportunities for automotive service industry professionals to improve their management and business skills.

The award was recently presented by AMI Board of Trustees Chairman Tony Passwater.

“Bob O’Connor is an extraordinary instructor with a great passion for the automotive industry,” said Passwater. “Over the past 25 years, he has helped shop owners improve operations, increase profits and achieve the goals that are most important to them.”

AMI Executive Director Toni Slaton, AAM, added, “AMI and its students are fortunate to have the opportunity to work with and learn from this highly respected industry professional. O’Connor has been an AMI-approved instructor since 1989 and is also an EXCEL partner having pledged $50,000 to AMI.
