In a press release announcing the event, Nu-Look says the even is an extension of the community service it has been doing for years: "Being a hometown company, we believe it is important to give back to the community and our customers. For many years, we have run the ‘Safety Shorts’ commercial clips which focus on alerting people about the dangers of driving distracted, drinking and driving, traffic safety laws and vehicle safety. We also run the ‘I Blew It’ campaign at festivals and local events to bring DWI awareness and prevention to the community."

The event will feature giveaways, safety literature and free services. Radio station 100.5 The Drive will be broadcasting, and other educational and fun activities are planned, according to Nu-Look.
