SceneExchange, an online service that links vehicle owners who need
repairs with shops, is entering into a strategic alliance with
Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corp. (SWAFC). This agreement
allows Sherwin-Williams to offer SceneExchange technology to its A-Plus
Network of Collision Repair Specialists throughout the United States
North America.
“The SceneExchange process stood out to us as a
way to bring in new business while allowing shop owners and managers
complete control over the vehicles they choose to repair,” said Brandon
Devis, SWAFC A-Plus program manager.
SceneExchange will be
launched for the network in the first quarter of 2009, rolling out to
shops in the states where SceneExchange is live first.
“The
A-Plus Network brings businesses that perform at high standards in
their operations, exactly what we are looking to bring to the
consumer,” said Alan Murdy, SceneExchange director of industry
relations.
Both organizations expect SceneExchange will boost the potential number of collision repair jobs available to A-Plus shops.
