The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) Affiliate Leadership Conference is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 25, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the I-CAR World Headquarters in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
The conference will provide an opportunity to give direct feedback to SCRS and learn tips for running successful shops from other association members. The conference can also provide insight into larger issues affecting the collision repair industry, including steering and legislations.
"You gain a national perspective by going to the conference, and when you’re more informed, you can make a more compelling argument to the powers-that-be in your state," Massachusetts Auto Body Association (MABA) Executive Director Steve Regan said. "When you can quote the factual experience of others, it substantiates your contention; it’s no longer simply an anecdotal story to a lawmaker-it becomes something bigger, more significant.”
