SCRS Booth at SEMA to Feature Demos of BOT, DEG and More

SCRS will be hosting demonstrations of the Blueprint Optimization Tool and Database Enhancement Gateway at the SEMA Show Nov. 2-5 at booth no. 32087.

The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) will be hosting demonstrations of the Blueprint Optimization Tool (BOT) and Database Enhancement Gateway (DEG) at the SEMA Show Nov. 2-5 at booth no. 32087 in the Upper South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The BOT is an automated version of the Guide to Complete Repair Planning, recognized during the 2019 SEMA Show with a 2020 SEMA New Product Award and 2020 SEMA Global Media Award. The application provides collision repair facilities with an intelligent, easy-to-use estimate analysis tool that can automatically scan and analyze every estimate for important overlooked operations. It then populates the missed operations into the repair plan in the proper build sequence. This establishes more accurate and consistent repair plans, reducing supplements and missed opportunities while leading to more accurate customer commitments.

For SEMA Show attendees who would like to pre-schedule an appointment to demo the BOT, email Tom Durkin at [email protected] in advance of the show.

The DEG is an industry resource managed by SCRS and AASP that helps improve the information in collision repair estimates by crowdsourcing feedback about vehicle-specific errors or omissions in the estimating database and labor times. The free resource has addressed nearly 19,000 inquiries since launched, and DEG Administrator Danny Gredinberg will walk prospective users through effective tactics for submitting clear and concise inquiries.

In addition to demonstrations on both estimating resources, SCRS will also have advisors on site to provide live consultations with collision businesses about the SCRS Multiple Employer Plan (MEP) for retirement services. In 2019, SCRS launched an opportunity to leverage the collective buying power of its membership to pursue more affordable and attractive 401(k) options.

Scott Broaddus, certified financial planner, accredited investment fiduciary and equity partner at Irongate Capital Advisors, will be on hand in the SCRS booth Nov. 2-4 to meet with shops who schedule one of the 30-minute blocks available between 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Broaddus serves as investment advisor to the SCRS plan and has helped countless repair facilities learn how they can not only reduce costs and mitigate administrative burdens but also fiduciary risks. Sign up for a slot and see availability in real-time during the show by clicking here.

You do not have to be a member of SCRS to receive a thorough consultation.
