SCRS MO-KAN Chapter Introduces ‘The Collision Repair Job Connection’

The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) of Missouri & Kansas has launched “The Collision Repair Job Connection,” a forum for the top technical school collision repair students to connect with SCRS MO-KAN member shops that are seeking employees. More than 20 technical schools are currently in the network, representing more than 400 students that plan to seek employment in the collision repair industry.

Students can enter their profile information online, including the geographic area (or areas) they desire to work in, as well as upload a resume. SCRS MO-KAN member shops will then be able to log on, choose from a list of cities within the MO-KAN area and find available students formally trained in the following categories: Painter, Body Technician, Estimator, Appraiser, Production Manager, Prepper, Mechanic, Polisher or Detailer. The SCRS MO-KAN Job Connection link is available at www.scrsmokan.com.

The Job Connection site is password-protected and is only available to students at Missouri and Kansas Technical Schools that are not currently employed by a collision repair shop. Conversely, all dues-paying SCRS MO-KAN members will have password access to the student profiles.

Any school or collision repair shop that is not currently affiliated with SCRS MO-KAN but want to take advantage of this tool should call the SCRS MO-KAN office at (816) 298-0146 or e-mail [email protected].
