SCRS Releases Two New Videos on YouTube

The Society of Collision Repair Specialists announced that it has released two new videos on its YouTube channel.

The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) announced that it has released two new videos on its YouTube channel: one of the morning session from the OEM Collision Repair Technology Summit at the SEMA Show, and another featuring Mike Anderson of Collision Advice and Danny Gredinberg of the Database Enhancement Gateway.

The OEM Collision Repair Technology Summit covered the state of rapid change in automotive design. As structures, substrates and functions evolve to accomplish a more sophisticated, safe and feature-rich vehicle, many automakers seek out strategic partnerships in addition to internal design and development efforts to employ innovative technology applications. From the integration of autonomous technologies to mixed materials and lightweighting features, this presentation gives insight into vehicle complexity that drives changes in the collision industry. In this presentation, the following panelists set the stage for what the industry can come to expect:

  • John Waraniak, vice president, Vehicle Technology, SEMA
  • Matt Murphy, chief technology officer, Material Sciences Corporation
  • Christian Ruecker, managing director, DEKRA Services Inc.

The second video covers how critical it is to review the owner’s manual to document necessary repair processes and gain consumer trust and confidence in a safe and proper repair.
