SEMA to Offer One Year of Tuition to Attend Ohio Technical College

Deadline to apply for $29,400 award is March 28, 2014.

The Speciality Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) is offering students at Ohio Technical College (OTC) the chance to win a scholarship for one year of tuition, valued at up to $29,400. The scholarship is part of SEMA’s Memorial Scholarship Fund (SMSF), which encourages and supports those pursuing careers in the automotive aftermarket.

"Students coming through the SEMA Scholarship Program have demonstrated great potential and share the enthusiasm and passion that has fueled our industry," said Zane Clark, SEMA education director. "Our hope is that we’ll continue to attract highly qualified students who will contribute and make strong, positive impacts in our industry."

Each year, SEMA scholarships award students with scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $3,000, with a $5,000 award going to the top student. A special OTC award is granted to one student from Ohio Technical College to cover a one-year tuition, up to $29,400.

The application deadline is March 28, 2014.
