Service King Collision Repair Centers announced it has acquired Kirmac Collision Services headquartered in Seattle, Wash.
Kirmac Collision Services operates 12 locations capable of servicing 2,500 vehicles per month. The acquisition not only signifies Service King’s entrance into the Pacific Northwest market, but also celebrates Service King reaching the 200-location milestone.
“Entering the Pacific Northwest is an exciting step forward for us,” said Jeff McFadden, Service King president. “The integrity and vision with which founders Ian and Ken McIntosh built Kirmac Collision Services naturally drew us to their business. We’re excited to bring their team and the Pacific Northwest community into the Service King family.”
With the Kirmac acquisition, Service King now operates 209 collision repair locations in 21 states across the country.
“Entering our 21st state is a proud moment for the Service King family,” said McFadden. “We’re excited to bring the Service King standard of excellent service and superior collision repair to the Pacific Northwest community.”
Ian McIntosh founded Kirmac Collision Services in British Columbia in 1973 before expanding into Washington state in 2000. The company went on to expand across the Puget Sound region over the next 14 years, and in that time, according to Service King, built an impressive reputation for high quality, consistent and hassle-free collision repair services.
“Extending the Kirmac Collision platform and building our business over the past 15 years in Washington has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my entire business career,” said Ian McIntosh, CEO of Kirmac Collision Services. “In ultimately selecting Service King as the new owners of our company, I am fully confident that I have made the right choice and look forward to watching the Service King team in Washington continue to build further on our success.”
