The MSEP, backed by the U.S. Department of Defense, is a joint-partnership among businesses to actively connect military spouses with career opportunities at more than 290 partnering organizations.

The MSEP Annual Induction Ceremony took place Wednesday at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center in Alexandria, Va.

“Service King is proud to be fully invested in providing rewarding career opportunities to military veterans and their families,” said Chris Abraham, Service King CEO. “We are honored to do our part for the brave men and women that sacrifice so much for our country. Service King has many distinguished teammates with military backgrounds, and we are humbled to welcome aboard more of our nation’s heroes and their families through partnerships like this.”

The MSEP officially launched in 2011 and now boasts more than 290 active partners that collectively have resulted in the hiring of more than 75,000 military spouses. The program’s mission is to alleviate the reported 26-percent unemployment rate and 25-percent wage gap faced by military spouses nationwide.
