Sherwin-Williams Announces 2011 First Quarter Training Schedule

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes announced its training sessions designed to help automotive collision professionals in the first quarter of 2011.

These upcoming business-building and production-excellence courses are being provided through classroom, web and hands-on settings at numerous Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes training centers located in metropolitan areas across the United States and Canada. The classes consist of multiple courses designed to increase shop productivity and include classes that focus on painter certification, AWX waterborne systems, color adjustment and blending, fleet refinishing, accurate estimating, and more.

According to Rod Habel, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes manager of Training Operations, many of the new classes directly relate to Sherwin-Williams’ philosophy of helping its customers through "lean thinking" – introducing concepts that support sustainable practices – which increases productivity while minimizing waste.

In particular, Habel noted that there will also be considerable curriculum emphasis on the company’s AWX waterborne systems. Other classes will focus on painting excellence with its ULTRA 7000 and Dimension systems.
