Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes announced it will have an expanded booth presence at the SEMA Show. The company will showcase new products and services, give an exclusive look at the 2010 Ford ROUSH Mustang and provide a meet-and-greet opportunity with NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer. Sherwin-Williams will exhibit at SEMA booth #25065, Nov. 25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Bowyer will be available at the booth from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3 to meet with fans and sign autographs.
Performance car enthusiasts can learn about the new collector’s initiative brought together by Sherwin-Williams, ROUSH Performance and Barrett-Jackson auto auction house. The three companies have recently combined to create a unique, limited-edition 2010 Ford ROUSH Mustang the first of only 25 vehicles to be produced.
The show car is decked out in the Planet Color Barrett-Jackson Collector Color Series of factory packaged colors (this one-of-a-kind car is painted with Red Hot Chili Pepper), and they come in a choice of 25 eye-catching basecoats. All colors are restyled versions of the most popular muscle car and current custom car colors, as provided by Barrett-Jackson. The Roush presence is evident in the Mustang’s 540 horsepower engine.
Visitors will also detail Sherwin-Williams’ recent announcement of its new integrated management system developed in cooperation with Mitchell International. This new initiative provides data integration between Formula Express color retrieval system and Mitchell’s RepairCenter. It was developed through input with the two brand’s top customers and is designed to help all shops meet competitive pressure head on in the production cycle.
Also premiering in the booth is the introduction of the Planet Color Waterborne products, which offer custom, durable colors with 3.5 VOC compliance, Sherwin-Williams says.
