Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Offering New A-Plus University Workshop

"Winning the Keys" Estimating and Profitability Workshop to be held June 16-17 in Napa, Calif.

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes announced it will hold its first A-Plus University “Winning the Keys” Estimating and Profitability Workshop at the AVIA Napa Hotel in Napa, Calif. on June 16 and 17.

“Winning the Keys” is a profitability workshop designed specifically to increase business at the front end of the body shop and focuses on three critical profit areas of importance to a successful collision facility: customer service, selling skills and estimating.

This workshop has been specifically designed for collision repair facility owners, managers, estimators and customer service representatives who are interested in improving their closing ratio, while creating loyal customers. Attendees will learn to use proven sales techniques that have been custom-tailored to the collision repair industry and designed to improve the effectiveness of their selling skills during the estimating process, Sherwin-Williams says. The workshop also provides each attendee with detailed information and the tools necessary to write and negotiate more profitable estimates.

The “Winning the Keys” course has been built by leading collision repair industry professionals and will also provide attendees with the opportunity to share best practices with their industry peers over the two-day period. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day with a group dinner scheduled for the first evening. Course curriculum includes the following:

• Achieving Service Excellence

• The Road to Sales Success

• Estimating Solutions for Profit

“We’re very excited about this A-Plus University offering,” said Brandon Devis, A-Plus Network program manager for Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “We see the ‘Winning the Keys’ curriculum as a natural extension to the other business-building training sessions we provide at our A-Plus University EcoLean Collision Services workshops.”
