Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes announced it will hold its A-Plus Network annual Vision Group Conference at the La Quinta Resort and Spa in Palm Springs, Calif., Dec. 11-13, 2013.  The conference will emphasize continued success in a difficult economic climate and will provide more than 100 leading North American collision facility owners and managers with training, industry speakers and group breakout sessions.

The conference agenda will feature numerous industry leaders and speakers from the collision repair and business arena, including:

  • Ken Blanchard Group, author of best-selling "One-Minute Manager," presenting "Optimal Motivation" (keynote)
  • Ted Matthews, brand expert, presenting "BRAND: It Ain’t the Logo – It’s What People Think of You"
  • Tom Hablitzel, president, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes

In addition, Sherwin-Williams business consulting experts Steve Feltovich, Lee Rush, David Dewalt and Rodes Brown will host a roundtable discussion.

After the keynote and guest speakers are finished, a number of breakout sessions will be held in tandem with peer-to-peer discussion groups throughout the three-day event. The discussion groups will give attendees the chance to review financial performance, discuss lean implementation, build marketing plans and define their goals.

“Our 2013 A-Plus Network Vision Group Conference will combine both a big picture industry view, as well as hands-on best practices sharing, and is designed to support and educate our Vision Group members as they formulate 2014 business plans,” said Troy Neuerburg, director of sales excellence at Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “This upcoming national conference is just one of several meetings our Vision Group members attend and interact extensively with their peers. These are all designed to keep their businesses at the industry forefront – and continue to give them the competitive edge to succeed in this challenging environment.”
