Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes announced it will begin its 2010 A-Plus Network University EcoLean workshops at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, March 9-10, 2010.
The EcoLean program was developed for collision shop owners and managers interested in leveraging the power of lean production as well as business solutions that reduce environmental waste. Sherwin-Williams says the program was a huge success in 2009 as all four regional workshops were sold out.
Sherwin-Williams calls the program an "industry first" since it combines lean production and green business solutions. EcoLean workshops teach collision repair shops how to take advantage of these two disciplines through a sustainable program to drive profitability through the reduction of waste.
“We’re excited with the response to our EcoLean program,” said Rodes Brown, manager of Marketing Strategic Programs for Sherwin-Williams. "We see the market moving rapidly toward leaner and more environmentally responsible business models, and we have now built a compelling set of tools and services to help our customers drive efficiency and reduce waste, both financial and environmental.”
