Sherwin-Williams to Host EcoLean Level 2 Workshop in Rhode Island

Providence, R.I., will be the site of the next Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes A-Plus University EcoLean Level 2 workshop. The course will be held Aug. 13-14 at the Providence Omni Hotel & Resort.

“EcoLean is all about helping collision centers drive profitability and productivity, while reducing their environmental impact,” said Troy Neuerburg, director of sales excellence for Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “The training is structured like a college curriculum and the new EcoLean Level 2 workshop is open to all collision facility owners and managers who have attended Sherwin-Williams’ EcoLean Level 1 workshop or an ‘Improving Workshop Efficiency’ course.”

The EcoLean Level 2 workshop is an extensive, two-day course that further implements the Sherwin-Williams message, educating shop owners on the connection between environmentally sound business decisions and the reduction of process and environmental waste. It is exclusively designed to educate attendees about maximizing profitability by improving productivity and eliminating waste throughout their facilities.

Neuerburg noted that previous training is necessary as the EcoLean Level 1 workshops provide the foundational knowledge that will be needed in Level 2 and beyond. After attending the session, participants will leave the two-day event with tangible tools to increase the quality, production output and profitability of their businesses, according to the company.

Topics covered in the EcoLean 2 workshop include:

  • Repair planning for rapid throughput
  • Shop tour/lean roundtable
  • Compensation solutions for a lean environment
  • Digital marketing

Included in the workshop fee are all class materials, breakfast buffet and lunch (both days) and a group dinner. Hotel and transportation costs are the responsibility of each workshop attendee.
