News: I-CAR Offers Virtual Tour of New Technical Center

Keenan Auto Body President and COO Michael LeVasseur announced the progression of Keenan Auto Body’s current Jingle contest. Keenan operates 11 shops in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
A little more than a month ago, Keenan Auto Body introduced its new jingle contest offering cash prizes to the winner and runner-up to its Facebook community of almost 2,400. As of this release, Keenan’s fan page is up to 2622 "likes," and they have received 14 legitimate entries. To boost the awareness of the campaign, LeVasseur and Keenan Marketing Director Craig Camacho spent some time at the 94.1 WIP studios in Philadelphia and recorded a promo commercial of their own.
"We had a blast," said Camacho. "We had a script going in but made a few changes to lighten it up and came up with something that people are telling us is really good. Mike had the hard part, having to remember the majority of the 60 second spot, and I just had to sing like a fool, which isn’t out of the ordinary for me."
Keenan is running the spot on local radio stations including 94.1 WIP and the event calendar on 93.3 WMMR, two of Philadelphia’s largest media outlets.
"Our hope is that it will reach a broader audience and spark more entries," said LeVasseur. "We have added a third place position called the fan favorite whereas the panel of judges will determine the first and second place winners the fans themselves will choose the entries and the one with the most votes will win third prize of a $300 gift certificate to any one of Keenan’s 11 locations as well as the notoriety and press that comes along with it."
