Shops Say CCC ONE Streamlines Operations

CCC Information Services Inc. says its CCC ONE Total Repair Platform continues to gain momentum, as shops of all sizes find benefits in using a single application that supports a complete repair process, not just a series of individual tasks.

As a smaller independent repair shop in Great Falls, Mont., 1st Avenue Auto Body was looking for a system to organize the information coming into its expanding business.

“We didn’t have any type of management system in place before we started using CCC ONE,” said 1st Avenue co-owner Evelyn LaMott, who runs the business with her husband Ken. “We have steadily grown every year and could see a real benefit in having real-time reporting from every phase of the business.”

As a large independent repair shop, Voss Auto Network is now using the CCC ONE Total Repair Platform. Voss Manager Jack Leet said the platform is a reflection of the efficient process followed by the shop’s technicians at the recently expanded 48,000-square-foot facility.

“It’s important that everything works together – it doesn’t matter if it’s in the shop or in the office,” said Leet of the Dayton, Ohio-based operation. “You have to have the ability to tie the tangibles together to get a complete view to manage a facility. That’s why we’re using CCC ONE. Within an easy and logical dashboard view, we know where everything is in the shop, where we stand and what does or doesn’t make us profitable.”

Riverdale Body Shop, with eight locations throughout Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, is also implementing the CCC ONE Total Repair Platform. According to Larry Seida, president of the family owned, multi-store operation, the selection is based on a multitude of factors including a streamlined set of processes.

“With CCC ONE, we can reduce the number of applications we need to run to complete a repair,” said Seida. “It streamlines the administration process, because we now have easy-to-use dashboards that can provide information like tasks and exception notifications in one place. Another feature we really like is the production view in building a repair plan. If we were going to be building repair plan/production scheduling software, (CCC ONE) is what I would want it to look like.”

“These facilities – First Avenue, Voss and Riverdale – all have a shared vision of constant business improvement in an industry that is now accustomed to rapid change,” said Jim Dickens, senior vice president of CCC’s Automotive Services Group. “We’re pleased that their organizations have chosen CCC ONE as a reinforcement of the work they have instilled in their businesses.”
