Edwin Rodriguez, owner of The Collision Center in Hialeah, Fla., has left a slew of unhappy customers in his wake and is now facing three counts of grand theft, a third-degree felony, and had his shop closed down, the Miami Herald reported. Meanwhile, police have broadened the investigation against Rodriguez, who over the last three years has had over 90 consumer complaints filed against his current shop and a previous shop located in North Miami.
For now, he’s charged with accepting thousands of dollars for repairs for three vehicles and never completing the work, according to the Herald.
Rodriguez, free on a $15,000 bond, denied the allegations, stating that one reported victim simply did not ask for her car to be returned.
