Spectra Premium Announces Limited Lifetime Warranty on Fuel Pump Assemblies

Spectra Premium Industries has announced a limited lifetime warranty on its fuel pump assemblies, electrical and mechanical fuel pumps and fuel trainers, effective Jan. 1, 2014.

“Continuous improvement, product validation and progressive engineering are the main contents of Spectra Premium’s fuel delivery products. These rigorous processes will now be backed by a lifetime warranty,” said Jason Best, VP of sales and marketing at Spectra Premium Industries.

As a complete OE fuel delivery systems manufacturer, Spectra Premium has implemented significant engineering improvements by leveraging its OE knowledge and experience, according to the company. These improvements reflect the North American market, where higher levels of ethanol in fuel have been observed, in addition to increased OE failure on domestic high flow rate applications. The implementation of carbon commutators in its high flow electric fuel pumps, and the use of palladium silver alloy in the rheostat card to counter bad fuel, are a few examples of these enhancements.
