The Collision Repair Education Foundation will host its 13th annual golf fundraiser Thursday, July 31 at the Northville Hills Golf Club near Detroit. The outing will coincide with other industry events in the area, including NACE/CARS, CIC and the I-CAR Annual Conference.
Proceeds from this event will help support collision repair students and their schools’ programs. A number of sponsorship opportunities are still available for interested companies.
Those unable to attend the event can still participate in the helicopter golf ball drop. More than 1,000 golf balls are available for purchase ($25/ball or five for $100), which will be dropped from a helicopter onto a green the day of the event. The person whose sponsored ball lands in or closest to the hole will win 23 percent of the golf ball drop proceeds if all 1,200 balls are sold, the winner will receive nearly $7,000.
