Sterling Autobody Introduces 24-Hour Repair Express at Expanded Illinois Shop

Sterling Autobody Centers has completed a 20,000-square-foot expansion of its Rolling Meadows, Ill., location. The facility, located at 2785 Algonquin Road, includes a newly remodeled, state-of-the art office and customer waiting area, an employee training facility, indoor parking for completed vehicles and a larger rental car site.

The Rolling Meadows store is also the first location to implement Sterling’s 24-Hour Express Repair Process (ERP). Sterling says ERP creates an efficient, linear repair by separating less complicated repairs from the more complex, heavy body repairs.

The ERP line is staffed with dedicated technicians and uses its own repair line and prep station to move light repairs through the process. Once a repair begins, it moves through without stopping and is returned to the customer within 24 hours, Sterling says.

“The ERP process is a highly choreographed team effort designed with the customer in mind,” said Sterling President Nick Notte. “Consumers whose vehicles have minor damage are assured high quality repairs with minimal disruption to their lives.”

Sterling Rolling Meadows will host an open house on June 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is invited to tour their newly remodeled facility and attend a free automobile workshop offering all attendees the opportunity to have minor dings and dents removed using paintless dent repair.

Sterling will also distribute free tire gauges, with certified technicians on site to educate consumers on the advantages of maintaining proper air pressure.

“Our unique auto body repair process and commitment to quality and customer service have allowed Sterling Autobody to thrive despite the current economic climate,” said Sterling President Nick Notte. “The demand for our services continues to grow as customers want and expect more than they have traditionally received from collision repair shops.”

Sterling Autobody currently operates repair facilities in the following Chicago area locations:  Libertyville, Crystal Lake, East Dundee, Rolling Meadows, Blue Island and Lombard.
