According to a report from the Associated Press, State
Farm plans to open a retail store in Chicago this summer but it won’t be
hocking shirts or furniture or any other kind of retail goods.
The largest property casualty insurer in the U.S. says
it’s going to use the location in the Windy City’s Lakeview neighborhood to woo
young adult potential customers with free services including financial advice,
coffee and Wi-Fi.
A report out of the Pantagraph in Bloomington stated that
the insurer intends to call the store "State Farm Next Door."
