Police in Illinois arrested an "extremely upset" 18-year-old girl this past weekend after she claimed that she wrecked her car because her boyfriend wouldn’t take her to see the new "Twilight" movie, the Huffington Post reports.

Police found Olivia Christina Ornelas’ car in a ditch and missing its right tire, and the teen was "extremely intoxicated," according to police.

"Ornelas advised that she was extremely upset with her boyfriend because she did not see the movie ‘Twilight’ like they were supposed to," according to a Kendall County police report.

It’s not a surprise Ornelas was miffed: The film, part of a franchise that’s a hit among teenage girls, grossed an estimated $140 million over the weekend.

Ornelas is charged with driving under the influence and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was released on a $300 bond.
