Stock Auto Body CARSTAR, a suburban St. Louis shop, is the latest to join the CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts network. The shop is owned by Kent and Suzanne Eberhart and is located at 505 S. 6th Street in Wood River, Ill.
Eberhart has been in the collision repair business since 1980 and opened Stock Auto Body in 1987. In the past, he has been known for his outstanding paint work and featured in multiple additions of Hot Rod Magazine. In 1998, Stock Auto Body painted a 1963 Corvette that the St. Louis Cardinals gifted to Mark McGuire. In addition, production manager Bruce Bonebrake had his own television show on the DIY Network called "Weekend Mechanic" from 2003 to 2009.
“We joined CARSTAR to help us gain future sustainability in this changing collision industry for our customers, our employees and ourselves,” said Eberhart.
Added David Byers, CEO of CARSTAR, “We congratulate Kent and Suzanne Eberhart on joining the CARSTAR family and their commitment to operational excellence. We are thrilled to expand our collision repair family’s presence in the St. Louis region with this top-notch collision repair center.”
