In a recent survey of body shop managers, Web-Est found that most respondents have offered financial assistance to customers to help pay for their deductibles.
The survey, conducted between June 17 and 26, showed that 65 percent of respondents said they sometimes offer financial assistance to their customers for their deductibles.
The survey also found that many consumers request that shops add deductibles to repair estimates. Of the shop managers surveyed, 30 percent said that their customers request the added deductibles 50 percent of the time or greater.
