Symach Installs Third Body Shop in Belgium

Bogemans in Brussels receives a range of products and the FixLine formula that Symach claims produces 120 repairs a week, with an average of 1.5 days keys-to-keys time for 83 percent of the repairs.

fixlineSymach, a company that was established in Bologna, Italy, in 2001 with the goal of creating fast paint drying methods, has sold a new body shop to Bogemans in Brussels complete with a range of products and the FixLine formula that Symach claims produces 120 repairs a week, with an average of 1.5 days keys-to-keys time for 83 percent of the repairs.

The new body shop will be installed in September of this year, and Symach says it will reduce labor costs considerably using three different repair processes, depending on the severity of the damage.

It is the third body shop with the FixLine formula that has been installed in Belgium by Symach in the past 12 months.

Symach specializes in building new body shops all over the world and provides consulting for the design of the new repair process by defining the new working times, new process and new repair costs in advance. Then, with the layout design of the new shop in 3D, Symach directly manages the training of all staff on the use of the new equipment and also how to operate within the new repair process. This training occurs with not only the technical staff but the managers as well.

“I am very pleased that Symach is getting important results in Belgium,” said Symach CEO Osvaldo Bergaglio. “I have personally worked with Dennis Bogemans on the project, and it was not easy to design a body shop for 120 repairs a week in a space that is at least 40 percent less than a conventional body shop. But Dennis is a very competent and scrupulous manager, and it was therefore a good thing for me to work with him on this project.”

Added Dennis Bogemans, “Our goal is to design a body shop in a small area with maximum output. We investigated many different options to achieve 120 repairs a week, and finally we have chosen Symach. Due to the fact that we can achieve this number of repairs in a small building with also a reduction of the keys-to-keys time, we can be more competitive in the market. We are very happy to start working with Symach.”
