Team PRP Automotive Recyclers Announces Expansion of Transportation Network

Utilization of a dedicated truck line, with all new trailers, now plays a large part in establishing an extremely dependable system of transporting parts, and substantially expedites delivery times.

Team PRP recently announced that it has successfully implemented its new network logistics tracking system, in tandem with a new and expanded transportation network.

According to Team PRP, a strategically developed linking of Team PRP Mid-Atlantic and Midwest partners with Northeast partners – created by opening up new trade routes – effectively initiated significantly increased trading of parts. Additionally, the expansion has created improved equalization of trading opportunities within the network. Parts that may be in short supply in one part of the country can now be fulfilled with parts available from other areas in a very timely manner.

Utilization of a dedicated truck line, with all new trailers, now plays a large part in establishing a dependable system of transporting parts, and substantially expedites delivery times.

“We now have much more inventory at our disposal, giving us the chance to say yes to our customers, more often,” said Brian Dean, general manager of JC Auto & Truck Parts in Missouri and Team PRP board president.

Simultaneously launching a new logistics tracking program – utilizing a system with the very latest technologies provided by one of the largest logistics companies in the world and highly customized for use by Team PRP – further solidified the expansion’s success, according to Team PRP.

“Our new logistics tracking program is a quantum leap from what we had been using in the past,” said Mark Gamble, Team PRP’s executive director. “It offers a level of accuracy, timeliness, and flexibility that we have never had before and represents a solid foundation for us to build even more functionality. This, along with the trucking expansion, has proven to be another significant step forward in the continued growth and success of Team PRP, further underscoring our commitment to excellence for our customers.”
