Three Stores Named CARSTAR Collision Centers of the Year by Esurance

During the recent CARSTAR annual conference in Denver, Esurance recognized three of the top CARSTAR facilities, naming them "CARSTAR Collision Centers of the Year.”

CARSTAR CEO Dick Cross, President Dan Bailey and Insurance Senior Vice President Dan Young honored representatives from each winning store during the annual awards ceremony. Jon Stephens, Don Finley and Scott Shepherd represented Esurance in the awards presentation.

The Esurance "CARSTAR Collision Center of the Year" award is given to the top performing stores in three regions and is based on a store’s estimate cycle time, Esurance Vehicle Status compliance, re-inspection variance, I-CAR Gold status and customer service comments.

The award was created to celebrate the top technicians in the industry, recognize those who continue their technological education and encourage new generations to become collision repair professionals. The winners included:

• CARSTAR-Autobody Resurrection of Lakeland, Fla., owned by Fred Haberl

• Butterfield Bodyworks CARSTAR in Mundelein, Ill., owned by Jeff and Jeanne Silver

• Exhibition Automotive CARSTAR of Kent, Wash., owned by Jeff Middleton

"Our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality work is critical for our insurance partners like Esurance," said Dick Cross. "We’re proud of the three CARSTAR franchisees that met the Esurance standards and congratulate them on being named the Esurance CARSTAR Collision Centers of the Year. We also commend Esurance for its efforts to promote the education and professionalism of the technicians in the collision repair industry."

Jon Stephens, Esurance’s MD manager, added, "CARSTAR is a pivotal component to the high level of service Esurance wants to deliver to our customers. The continued commitment by these recipients is a clear indication of why we’ve partnered with CARSTAR and continue to meet our customers’ expectations.”
