The Collision Repair Executive Webcast (CREW) will feature John Edelen of I-CAR as its guest on Thursday, Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. PST.
Edelen’s presentation, “Recognizing Professional Development through Training: Building a Framework for the Future,” will outline the development of I-CAR’s Professional Development Matrix, which is set to launch in July, 2010. Among the new features of the matrix are delivery of more timely and relevant training, and greater definition and recognition of the levels and specific training curriculum required for various collision repair professional jobs.
Edelen is president and CEO of I-CAR. He has held this position, on an interim and then fulltime basis, since December of 2007. Prior to his work with I-CAR, Edelen was with Allstate Insurance Company, where he was the officer responsible for the company’s policies, practices and procedures for the handling of auto damage claims.
Edelen is a graduate of Rutgers College, of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He is also a graduate of New York Law School, and was admitted to the practice of law in New York and New Jersey.
The CREW delivery format is a Web-based visual presentation of the content, a simultaneous audio conference call and the capability for participants to question the presenters. Erick Bickett of Fix Auto, Matthew Ohrnstein of Symphony Advisors, and Vincent Romans of The Romans Group, produce and present the semi-monthly, one-hour Webcast meeting.
