Toyota, Nissan Highlight OEM Support at ASRW

Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) Toyota Wholesale Parts and Nissan Collision Repair Network will each have an expanded presence at Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW), including show floor presence and innovative, interactive support programs, show organizers announced.

In addition to exhibiting, Toyota Wholesale Parts (booth #N1343) will sponsor the networking reception concluding the ASRW Industry Forum Wednesday, Oct. 5. New this year, the company will also sponsor a NASCAR simulator located near its booth. Attendees can "drive" the NASCAR simulator and compete in a fastest lap competition. Winners receive NASCAR tickets, and other great racing-related prizes.

"For many years, Toyota has been proud to support CARS and NACE. We are also excited about this year’s new location in Orlando. It gives Toyota the expanded opportunity to showcase the support that we provide to our business partners, independent mechanical and collision shops. Toyota and our business partners are a winning combination to ensure our mutual customers, Toyota owners, are satisfied customers," said  Jerry Raskind, wholesale development manager.

Nissan Collision Repair Network (booth #1241) will be giving away 300 Nissan 370Z-inspired wireless mice to the first 100 attendees who visit their booth each day of the Expo. To receive a mouse, attendees must also bring the special advertisement from Nissan mailed to each pre-registered attendee along with their badge credentials. In addition, Nissan will be sponsoring a networking reception Friday, Oct. 7 at the ICEBAR Lounge. Space is limited for this exclusive event for collision shop owners and managers.

"Nissan is pleased to be back exhibiting once again this year at NACE. NACE provides Nissan a strong venue to reinforce to independent repair facilities and our industry partners the all-important value message of using only genuine parts in consumer vehicles during repairs. Nissan will be showcasing a number of new and exciting solutions that provide shops ways to partner with Nissan and provide even easier access to high quality OE replacement parts," said Mark Zoba, manager, Collision Parts Sales Growth.

"The presence and support of OEMs is critically important to the audience who attends ASRW, and we applaud these two manufacturers for not only showing their support of the professional service and repair community, but bringing a new level of engagement to the show," said Ron Pyle, ASA president.

In addition to Toyota and Nissan, OEM1Stop.com will also be exhibiting on the ASRW show floor.

Expo hours for ASRW 2011 are Thursday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
