The Utah Auto Body Association (UABA) announced it will be holding its 2nd Annual Family Barbeque and Car Show on Aug. 1st at Riverfront Park East in South Jordan, Utah.
UABA anticipates more than 50 custom cars this year at the event. Judges are picked from the association and trophies are awarded for many categories.
“Utah has some really awesome cars and hot rods,” says Scott Emmrick, event organizer and member of the Board of Directors of the UABA. “This is a great opportunity for everyone to get together and show off their rides.”
There will also be a “bounce house,” games and prizes for the kids – large and small.
The previous meeting of the UABA was in May at the Utah State Capital. “We were pleased to end this season with a good meeting at our State Capital,” UABA President Cory Stanger said. “We have taken the summer off to enjoy our families and our UABA Family BBQ and Car Show. Everyone is invited!”
