Valley Motor Center Donates Recycled Rides to Disabled American Veterans of California

Valley Motor Center recently donated two refurbished vehicles to the Disabled American Veterans of California (DAV) as part of the national Recycled Rides effort. A 2006 Toyota Sienna (shown) and a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica were gifted to the organization on Dec. 10.

“Our goal is to help as many people who are in need as we can, in the communities we serve,” said Marsh Gluchow, owner of Valley Motor Center. “We have always taken our responsibility very seriously, to give back to those who are most in need."

The vehicles were provided by Mercury Insurance and Farmers Insurance, and the body shop will offer free oil changes for life to the DAV.

"Literally thousands of veterans every year, many of whom still bear the terrible wounds they’ve suffered, and who may not be able to help themselves, will get a needed ride in the vehicles we donate to get to medical appointments, rehabilitation, therapy, counseling, and to and from DAV events,” said Gluchow.
