The Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Association (WMABA) will host a meeting to discuss Toyota’s new predictive estimating concept Feb. 19 at 11:30 a.m. at Craftsman Auto Body of Dulles’ training center.
Rick Leos, body and collision business development consultant for Toyota, will discuss the methodology and concept behind this new system. Lunch will be provided, and there is a $25 fee for all non-WMABA members.
Instead of beginning an estimate with a blank paper and adding items, Toyota’s concept automatically fills in the operations and parts based on the type and location of damage. Although it is still in the concept phase, Toyota is working with estimating information providers to integrate the system.
