Web-Est LLC, provider of an online auto collision estimating program, has announced its product is now able to integrate into CollisionLink, the OE parts procurement solution from OEConnection LLC. With the rollout of its latest product update, released early last week, OEConnection has established seamless integration between the Web-Est collision estimating software product and CollisionLink, according to Web-Est.
Web-Est body shop customers are now able to send their estimates electronically to their respective OE parts suppliers. CollisionLink automatically scrubs the data by VIN and verifies every part on the estimate, allowing dealerships to respond with greater speed and accuracy, according to Web-Est. In addition to extending the CollisionLink core value proposition of reduced returns, improved accuracy and improved customer satisfaction, the integrated solution will help Web-Est customers take advantage of automaker parts programs. These programs are designed to help shops utilize more OE parts instead of aftermarket. Today, CollisionLink administers competitive parts marketing programs on behalf of Ford, GM, Chrysler, Nissan, Honda and Volkswagen.
Web-Est CEO and President Eric Seidel said, “We are very excited to have the parts ordering integration between our auto collision estimating system and CollisionLink. This integration provides our customers with yet another powerful, time-saving benefit within the Web-Est product. Using CollisionLink, our shops have the opportunity to streamline their OE parts ordering processes and better serve their customers.”
Mark Tomasetti, senior vice president and chief commercial officer of OEConnection, added, “The integration with Web-Est represents an important partnership for OEConnection and our CollisionLink product team. Most importantly, it will help body shops improve their parts ordering efficiency and accuracy so that they can repair cars faster and more economically.”
