WMABA Announces Upcoming Events

The Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Association (WMABA) has announced several upcoming events:

• May 11 – Maryland Salvage Exclusions Meeting – An in-depth discussion with the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration and insurers regarding the recently adopted salvage exceptions for "cosmetic damage." Learn how to use these regulations to repair more vehicles and educate customers on their options, as well as gain insights to retain documentation for the calculations. Some insurers are already using this to save money instead of totaling the vehicle.

• June 1 – State of the Industry and Free Demo of I-CAR’s New Technologies Class – An update on the state of the industry from WMABA Executive Director Jordan Hendler, as well as an update on education from I-CAR Regional Manager German Meija. Following lunch, the full I-CAR New Technologies class will take place.

• June 22 – WMABA Annual Golf Outing – The majority of the net proceeds will go to the Jerry Dalton Memorial Education Fund as well as the March Taylor Memorial Fund.
