The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) announced that WIN Chair Michelle Sullivan awarded two board members, Petra Schroeder and Cheryl Boswell, with the organization’s Cornerstone Award.
The Cornerstone Award is presented each year to deserving WIN board members whose actions and contributions demonstrate the outstanding commitment to WIN’s mission and vision. They also set a high example for others to follow.
Schroeder, who is a past WIN chair, has been instrumental in the leadership of WIN. WIN states that she has showed dedication and passion for WIN and has been “nothing short of remarkable.” She served on the WIN executive committee in various roles and served in a leadership capacity on many committees, such as Industry Outreach and Sponsorship.
Boswell, who is the incoming WIN chair, was crucial in setting up procedures for WIN’s financial transactions and creating an investment strategy for the organization. Being active on numerous committees, she co-chairs the finance committee and serves on the Most Influential Woman (MIW) award committee.
“This award defines what it means to be an outstanding member and leader of WIN,” says Michelle Sullivan, chair of WIN. “Cheryl and Petra’s actions and contributions have created a great example for future board members and leaders in our organization, and we are very proud that they are a part of WIN.”
